We totally re-designed the Kepha website last summer and are now in the process of making it a fun site to visit. We are using more graphics, less text and will be putting up lots of pictures and videos from the retreats and events. We will also post the upcoming schedules for all chapters and any other information that is pertinent to Kepha.
This was an interesting article about how the use of contraception can have deep implications most people are not aware of. I would like to add to Fr. Longnecker's thesis that men, even though they do not use contraception like women do, are affected by its use as well.
Primarily they can lose their focus on what it means to be a father ie. sacrificing hinself for his wife and children, and begin to make pleasure their number one goal. I have seen this countless times from my own experience.
Flier and info about the upcoming March retreat for the St. Peter chapter of Kepha is up at www.kepharocks.org/texas. This retreat will focus on the fatherhood of St. Joseph and will start on Friday night and go through Sunday around noon.
Any man with or without sons can sign up. Guests are encouraged to check out Kepha. Registration is $20.00 per person. Let us know if you need help with registration fees, we want everyone to come regardless.
